This Privacy Policy explains how Happy Birthday Jukebox and HappyBirthdaySong.com collect, use, and protect information when you create, play, purchase, or share birthday songs.

Information We Collect

• First names entered to find or generate birthday songs.
• Song generation status, generated song URLs, and share card links.
• App Store transaction information needed to verify in-app purchases.
• Email address and reminder date if you use the website reminder feature.
• Basic technical information such as browser, device, server logs, and usage analytics.

How We Use Information

• To find existing birthday songs in the catalog.
• To generate custom birthday songs when requested.
• To create and display shareable birthday song card links.
• To verify in-app purchases and prevent duplicate or invalid transactions.
• To operate, debug, secure, and improve the app and website.

In-App Purchases

Payments are processed by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. The app sends Apple-signed transaction information to our backend so we can verify the purchase and start custom song generation.

Sharing

Birthday card links are intended to be shared. Anyone with a card link may be able to open that card and play the associated song. Avoid entering sensitive information as a name.

Analytics and Advertising

The website may use analytics and advertising tools such as Google Analytics or Google AdSense. These services may collect usage data according to their own policies. The iPhone app does not require an account and does not include third-party advertising SDKs.

Data Retention

We keep information as long as needed to provide the birthday song catalog, generated songs, share links, purchase verification, support, security, and legal compliance. Local song library information may also be stored on your device by the app.

Children

The service is not intended to collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us and we will review the request.

Your Choices

You can choose not to enter a name, not to purchase custom generation, and not to share a card link. You can also delete the app to remove local app data from your device.
